A critical part of the process is developing a targeted search strategy. Our research team builds a target list of companies and identifies potential candidates and sources. We isolate individuals and groups dependent on a multitude of variables including geographical location, skillsets, industrial background, previous history, and career trajectory. In turn, our carefully calibrated approach leads to a precision of results that defines our ultimate search for excellence.  

Our mission, in addition, involves the development of effective corporate governance. Our years of experience establishing the system of rules, regulations, practices, and processes by which a company is directed, controlled, and managed have distinguished us from our competitors. The extensive network we possess enables us to fulfill corporate governing needs beyond expectations. 

Our process:

Phase 1

Meet with senior management and key leaders. Listen and solicit thoughts and ideas

Summarize and refine findings/build consensus around most important critical points

Develop ideal candidate profile, including critical leadership characteristics and create a written position description

Phase 2

Identify target companies to begin to develop a universe of candidates

Access proprietary database and online sources of published data

Network with industry sources to augment and refine candidate pool

Phase 3

Contact qualified candidates

Interview in person and evaluate candidates against position description developed in Phase I, assessing strengths, weaknesses, experience gaps and cultural fit

Weekly status reports and calls with client

Phase 4

Prepare background profiles and review profiles with the client

Facilitate client interviews with candidates.  Obtain feedback from client and candidates

Phase 5

Work with the client to select finalists for further interviews

Conduct thorough and comprehensive reference checks on the finalist, including background checks and degree verification

Phase 6

Prepare detailed profile and evaluation report on candidate’s strengths and weaknesses including leadership characteristics and cultural fit

Assist in compensation negotiation and transition planning
